Blue skies scattered with bright white clouds, sandy beaches, and delicious tropical details- I loooooove a beach side wedding.

Michael and Melissa are such a fun couple from Portland OR.  I love to watch them laugh together, and I adore the way Michael looks at Melissa.  They chose Oahu as the place to mark the beginning of their new life together- which was also the place where Michael popped the question.  Pure perfection.

Their wedding took place at the most beautiful beach side home just outside of Honolulu- which turns a typical one day event, into a week long celebration with their closets family and friends.

I always like when couples exchange a small gift on the wedding day.  It’s so nice to have one more little thing to remember the day by.  Michael gave Melissa a binder full of instant message conversations they’d shared during the first months of their relationship- yup, he saved them all.  *sigh*  BIG POINTS for that one, Michael.  🙂

We stopped by their favorite road side diner on the way back from the beach.  I think it was killing Melissa not to get a big shaved ice in her white gown- and I totally get it.  Yum!

Michael and Melissa, thank you SO much for inviting me to share such a special event with you!  The day was such an amazing display of love and beauty, and I wish nothing less than that for your future together.  -KH
