I have such a back log of weddings I’m dying to share- so let’s get started!
Brittany and Ben’s Seattle wedding was definitely a memorable day. The day began with some getting ready pictures at Hotel 1000. Brittany and Ben exchanged letters before seeing each other. I love this for two reasons: 1. It’s an opportunity to put your feelings in ink. We often forget to really tell someone exactly how we feel about them. 2. What an amazing keepsake to have from your wedding day! They will be able to read those letters on their 50th anniversary, and pass them on to their children and grandchildren. LOVE!
After getting ready at Hotel 1000, we hauled the bridal party to Pioneer Square and Seattle’s Sculpture Park for some photo field trips (two of my favorite stops for wedding day photos!). I loved how the girls’ bouquets popped against those black dresses, and check out the guys’ socks- I die!
The Seattle Aquarium is definitely one of my new favorite venues for ’12. If the weather is in your favor, you can have the ceremony on the gorgeous private pier behind the Aquarium- and it’s seriously a breathless view of the sound. And inside, I was amazed at the transformation that space took on. It went from a family-friendly activity for your toddler on a rainy day, to a modern, chic, ball room back lit by that gorgeous blue aquarium light. So perfect.
And please note that freezer full of delicious ice cream sandwiches! Such a great option for your wedding dessert!
Brittany and Ben- I adore you both and I am SO happy I was able to share this amazing day with you. Congratulations!!
