My apologies for how long this blog post is, but I really didn’t want you to miss a thing. I really, truly, love this wedding. Katie and Travis planned such a FUN celebration for their day- all about surrounding themselves with friends and family to create some amazing memories… and that they did. Katie was a knock out in her gown, the decor was flawless, and the food amazing (hello Skillet Food Truck!), but most important, everyone was so genuinely happy and it was a smashing good time. And a shout out to Perfectly Posh Events- everything went flawless. A good coordinator is SO worth it!
Some of my favorite things:
Have you ever seen such a beautiful bride? Katie, you are gorgeous inside and out.
Their bridal party had male & female attendants on both sides. I love it when couples break tradition when it means making their wedding more ‘them’. Both Katie and Travis were surrounded by their favorite people. The best!!
Their guestbook was a marriage bucket list- guest wrote activites to be ‘crossed off’ by their first, tenth, and twenty-fith anniversaries. What an awesome gift that will last the next 25 years of their marriage!
They had a good friend marry them. When it’s the right kind of friend for the job, I always love this. You might recognize their officiant from THIS SUPER CUTE ENGAGEMENT SESSION. Awesome job Todd!
Their cocktail hour was held next door at Still Liquor. Such a fantastic way to keep the party rolling.
Cinnabon in lieu of wedding cake. No further explanation needed. YUM!!
The wedding was the night before St. Patrick’s day, so at 11:00 Katie (with a fantastic new dress) and Travis suprised their guests with a full blown St. Paddy’s celebration including Irish music, green attire, and of course, green jello shots. These kids know how to throw a good party.
Katie and Travis- thank you SO very much for inviting me along on this day. You two are the perfect pair, and working with you was nothing less than wonderful. So happy for you both!
