BIG wedding post today. 🙂 I am so excited to share Jenn and Isaac’s wedding at Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum Washington. It’s been a long time coming- Jenn signed on with me summer of ’09, and I loved watching the planning process over the next year. It’s amazing how all those little details fall into place to make one exquisite wedding!
Jenn was the classic and stunning, blushing bride, and Isaac was her perfect prince charming. The girl has ridiculously good taste, and I found myself loving every last detail from her romantic cathedral veil to her green satin shoes. Please check out the adorable and oh-so-Northwest party favors… Honey Jars- how ‘sweet’ is that?!
The ceremony took place at the most charming white church in Rosyln, WA. I distinctly remember letting out a little squeal of delight when I pulled up to it. The classic architecture and crisp white walls reminded me of every romance story I’d read as a little girl. After some emotional vows, the guests were treated to dinner and drinks in Suncadia’s gorgeous white tent. I’m completely smitten with Sucadia now. It has the perfect balance of rustic NW accents and luxury resort. Did I mention it’s surrounded by breathtaking views of the Cascades?! Yeah, I’m booking my winter get away now.
Back to Jenn and Issac…
These two are so meant to be. Seeing them together, they had the most endearing chemistry- a constant balance of give and take topped a very solid and supportive friendship. The best man speech was one of the best I’ve ever heard- the perfect mix of creativity, wit, and sincerity. I wish I had it to share with you word-for-word, but it was a true testament to their love for each other. Hiding behind my camera, my eyes were brimming with tears (we all know I’m a sucker for romance!), but in my defense, everyone else was right there with me.
Congrats to Jenn and Issac! Thank you SO MUCH for inviting me to play this role in your wedding. I was honored and thrilled to work with you both, and I cannot wait to hear what adventures you share together in the future.
