Whew! The past 6 months have been a whirlwind! I am so excited about all the amazing weddings and portrait sessions of 2009, but in all the craziness, there are soooo many images still waiting to be blogged. To start picking away at the backlog, I’d like to share Lara and Coley’s beautiful Vashon Island wedding. Every time I step off the ferry on Vashon, it seems that the clock moves a little slower, I breathe a little deeper, and I get to soak in all the beauty. Love it.

Some of my favorite things:
Lara and Coley threw their rain boots on to walk along the water. You guys are so cute.
The reception venue- I heart Camp Burton
Lara is Super Bride: She made her own wedding cake, along with half the dinner menu…and everything was insanely delicious!!
Coley’s Dad married them- love that.
Coley’s sisters sang a beautiful song during the ceremony. I teared up during the rehearsal… it was that sweet.
How Lara and Coley incorporated so much of themselves into their day- the wedding and reception just felt like them.
The speeches detailing all of Coley’s extreme sports action… mad me laugh (and cringe). 🙂
Lara and Coley- were so sweet to me, and perfect for each other.
It was such an honor- thanks for inviting me to be a part of your day!
You’ve captured their day beautifully! Well done 🙂
I love the vibe these give off – great post processing!
I love how crisp and clean your photos are! This is some beautiful, solid work.
Beautiful wedding in a beautiful location with a beautiful couple and beautiful photographs! Awesome!
These are absolutely gorgeous!!
Beautiful wedding and beautiful images! I can’t believe she made her own cake!! Amazing!
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. Girl, you are such an AMAZING talent!
I agree with Kat, the post production work on these images are amazing!
Love how you went back to post some from a greener season. Very refreshing this time of year.
Kristen, these images are stunning. I have to agree with everyone else about post. The Sepia treatment you have is really perfect. Your formals with the couple came out beautifully, a great mix of natural shots of them together and posing.
Awesome photos. I love the black and whites. Such a fun-looking wedding.
Gorgeous photos and a gorgeous bride to match. I really love the photos of them in the dandelion field, and I love the rings on the piano keys! Good idea. =)
