In between all the rain we’ve enjoyed this “summer”, we were gifted an amazing evening for Amie and Cisco’s engagement session on Alki.  The light was divine, the beach was buzzing, and Amie and Cisco were adorable together.  Seriously.  Adorable.

They have such a natural and relaxed chemistry together, which always puts a big fat smile on my face.  (and makes my job pretty easy too!)  So as I was walking around with my big fat smile, I had such a wonderful evening chatting/laughing with these two.

And guess what- Cisco just won an Emmy!  Seriously- like, gold statue Emmy.  The Emmy.  How fantastic is that?!  The answer is almost as fantastic as Amie and Cisco’s reenactment of their proposal on Alki:

Sweet little L is one cute, cute, CUTE baby.  Can’t believe how much she’s grown since her newborn session.

This round of portraits, she made us work for those smiles.  Any random bystander probably assumed I was a mad woman- watching me dance, sing, clap, jump, peek-a-boo, laugh, etc. to pull out those grins.  Ha!

Totally worth it for this little lady.

This was one gorgeous fall Seattle wedding!  I just love the warm colors- all the red, orange, brown, and green made the perfect backdrop for Alison and Richard’s wedding day.  And we even scored some sun!  Isn’t it fabulous when everything just falls into place?!

Alison and Richard chose the Sanctuary at Admiral for their ceremony and reception- love this venue.  It’s a beautiful building with amazing light, and a floor plan made for a party.  Not to mention, it’s within close proximity to a gorgeous park, waterfront, and that amazing alki Seattle view.  Perfect for their bride and groom session.  Their good taste continued- they chose Herban Feast to provide a beautiful and delicious meal for their guests.  YUM!  Their food is always artistic and delectable!  AND I cannot say enough about their florist- Collected Design.  Alison said she gave Chad free reign, and I was blown away by what he came up with.  Gorgeous, romantic boquets and centerpieces that worked seemlessly with the venue, season, and feel of Alison and Richard’s day.  They might be my new favorite for wedding flowers.  Enjoy the slideshow (make sure you have the latest version of Flash to view it).

A quick note: After Saturday’s wedding, I will be traveling through November 4th with limited access to my phone/email.  I’m in desperate need of some time with my boys, so we’re packing up the fam for a little vacation.  I’ll do my best to check in via email and blog, but I appreciate your patience as I return emails/phone calls.  And don’t forget to check back as I update with pics- I am very excited to share little P’s Halloween costume. 

Alright kids- check out this gorgeous couple.  I met up with Heidi and Jeremy on Alki for some cityscapes and sand- and even got a few night shots in.  It turned out that I inadvertently scheduled their engagement session on their 4 year anniversary- how cool that I got to document another milestone for them?!  Talk about a fun anniversary date- I had such a great time running around West Seattle with these two, and I am just so excited for their June wedding!

You two are adorable together- Happy FOUR!
