30′s Inspired Engagement Session in Pioneer Square: Kris and Kevin
The first time I met Kris and Kevin, it took me no more than 2 minutes to know we would be a good fit. Our meeting (if I can call it that), was more like sitting down with old friends- full of excitement, laughter, and a touch of playful banter. Their chemistry is perfection- I am pretty sure just being in the same room together makes them both giddy. And when they said they wanted their engagement session to give a nod to that 1930′s style, I was over the moon. The engagement session is the PERFECT opportunity to think outside of the box, explore what you love, and have fun with your session. You don’t always need a bunch of props/extras- sometimes a well executed wardrobe and our beautiful city are just enough for the perfect evening with the one you love.
One Frame
This week was a VERY busy shooting week for me- engagement sessions, family portraits, weddings, and more, and the sun (gasp!!!) even came out to play this week. Yay! Stand by, because I have so much to share with you, but for now, just one. I spotted this while I backing up, and had to quick share. The light was amazing, the breeze was perfection, and Tori and Brian kept me smiling. So lovely.
Seattle Engagement Session: Kerry + Josh
We hit up downtown Ballard for this engagement session (anything in close proximity to Trophy Cupcakes wins in my book!). Kerry and Josh are so full of energy and excitement. Our session was filled with running, jumping, and a whole lot of giggling. And between it all, I loved watching these two snuggle into each other-obviously so comfortable with the other by their side.
How cute is their fur baby???! *love*

Kerry and Josh- thanks for sharing your evening with me! I am so SO excited for your wedding this September!
