Happy Friday.

I can feel it.  Summer is on the way, and I am so excited for long, sunny days in the city.  With the gorgeous weather in Seattle lately, I have had so many “sudo-summer” sessions- such a big tease!

This adorable family definitely earned their beautiful day.  After getting rained out TWICE, I ordered up this bright spring day for their portraits.    And their two little munchkins are the biggest charmers- had me wrapped around their little fingers in 60 seconds flat.

I’ve been a bad, bad blogger.  One post in 12 days?!  Not my best record.  Here come the excuses…

#1.  I had an amazing- and very needed- family vacation.  My husband and I (and our lobster), headed to Maui with two of our best friends for 10 glorious days of sun and relaxation.  It was hard, but I barely picked up my camera, let alone opened my laptop.

#2. Then our house got hit with the cold bug.  Doesn’t that always seem to happen right after you take time off?!  I got it the worse, but thankfully I’m just about at 100% again.  Thank you so much to those of you who rescheduled when I had the sniffles.  My head (and your own immune systems) thank you. 

#3. I have been shooting like crazy!  November is my marathon month for all the pre-Christmas portrait sessions.  I have been behind the camera every day with sessions- some days back to back.

But you  know what they say about excuses…
