The first sight is always one of my favorite parts of the day. The anticipation, the surprise, the joy…
Pure. Bliss.
More from Kelly and Ben’s wedding day coming soon…

I wasn’t lying when I said I had a bunch of portrait sessions to blog. Recently, I got to play with two very handsome boys…
First it was R for his one year session. He probably looks familiar after THIS. He has grown into quite the little man over the last year. Those bright eyes and gorgeous locks- are you kidding me?! Heart-breaker!

And what else would we do on a hot day, but run through the sprinklers?! Cracked me up- he was soooo tired, but just kept spraying himself in the face- lovin’ every second.

And then I was lucky enough to shoot at the gorgeous farm of little K’s grandparents in Moses Lake- such a cool place to shoot! Look at this cutie! Remember him?

Bet you can’t look at this picture without smiling:

You smiled, didn’t you.

And big brother let me snag a shot of him too:

Yup, handsome boys all around.
yup. it was that gorgeous.
I’ve had so many fun portrait sessions lately that I’m dying to share… but wedding season seems to be invading my blogging time. So, while I have a quick minute, I want to share some from a couple recent Kirkland sessions…
I can’t help but have a BIG soft spot for mamas and their boys… and this mama gets brownie points for being an RN. These brothers had me giggling hard at our portrait session, and I think I got a glimpse into my rowdy, rough-and-tough future.

I loooove this one. Aren’t they gorgeous?

I think this is my fave… just look at that mischievous grin.

And here are a few from baby S’s 6 month session… you may remember her newborn session HERE. (I never get over how much they change) Definitely one of my favorite ages to photograph, I was loving all her cute expressions. And who could resist those bright blue eyes?! Seriously?!

I really want to pinch those cheeks right now…
