What’s more fun than two of your best friends getting married?!  My husband and I just got back from a lovely wedding weekend, where we were both more than honored to be a part of their bridal party.  It was a beautiful day with a drop-dead gorgeous bride, good friends, and tons of that mushy-gushy love in the air!  My only job on this one was to party like a bridesmaid, but I couldn’t put down the camera completely.    Here’s a few from their “I do’s”.

Can I just say that I LOVE the reception!  Some of the sweetest/funniest/silliest moments happen during the party.  Exhibit A:

That’s our little guy below.  The bride and groom are his God Parents, so naturally, we had to buy him a turn during the money dance.

Congratulations Nate and Lindsay.  We are so incredibly happy for you.  Thank you for including us in your very special day… but next time, bring us along on the honeymoon. 

…with a fresh blog and logo.  Like?  This blog has been sitting collecting dust for months, and I finally found the time to put on the finishing touches and get her live.  Take a minute to look around, click buttons, and please let me know if anything isn’t working quite right.

June 10th I will officially be off of maternity leave… although I may or may not have snuck in a couple sessions already.    I am so pumped for this year’s wedding season and all the family sessions lined up.  I’ve picked up some new gear over the last few weeks to add to my collection, and I’ve got so many ideas I’m dying to try out- I can’t wait to play!

So, without further ado, here is the adorable Miss Lila at her final portrait session of the Baby’s First Year package.  Makes me kind of teary eyed when I see how much they change in 12 months.

On a side note, thank you so much for all the kind words and gestures during my maternity leave.  That little boy has brought so much joy into our lives, and we are truly blessed to be surrounded by so many amazing people during this special time.  Much love, -K
